1. Subject: Physical Education

2. Curriculum Area:Cooperative Activities

3. Standard(s): Standard 4 - The physically literate individual exhibits responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others.
4. Objectives (observable behaviors) Students will improve their interaction skills, as well as showing their self-expression by completing their groups puzzle together by figuring out the problem with their current puzzle.

5. Assessment: Students will create an affective PowToon about how they felt before, during and after this activity. Their feelings can be expressed however they want in their PowToon using pictures, people, words or their own voices.

6. Prerequisite Knowledge: What it takes to work together in a group using proper encouragement and no put downs.

7. New Knowledge: Through cooperation and communication you can solve problems together as a team. Working off of each others ideas can help one another. Being able to turn down a suggestion is a art. Knowing how to give someone a compliment for their ideas but maybe not using them is okay. As long as you don't make someone feel bad about what they said, there can be no wrong suggestions.

8. Class Time: This will be the warm up activity and lesson focus that will lead into the culminating activity. this activity could take anywhere from 10-15 minutes. The next activity will take about 25 minutes.

9. Materials: Puzzles, polyspots, music and a smart board with a video of the teachers hands and each puzzle being created. This will give the students a visual of the puzzles and what they should look like. The students will need knowledge of PowToons for their homework assignment.

10. Connection (to real life): In life you will need to cooperate with others to solve problems. Sometimes having an extra set of eyes can really help out when solving a problem. Problems are not the only things that need solutions. Ideas sometimes need alternate ideas as well, and collaboration between two brains can be exquisite.

11. Differentiation: For students who are not good at putting together puzzles, they can be designated the runners once the groups figure out that some of their puzzle pieces are missing. Some puzzle pieces are at other groups stations and they all need to figure that out.

12 Evaluation: By listening to the students PowToons, I can evaluate if they are making connections and understudying how they feel. They are going to be making an affective specific PowToon so their feelings and emotions are going to be highlighted immensely.

13. Homework or extension: This is where they will make their PowToons reflecting on their group and their project.
